The future of Burger King's Miami headquarters is once again in doubt.

The company has talked about leaving the Miami area several times before.

But, now, it could be likelier than ever.

Burger King is in talks to buy the Canadian restaurant chain Tim Hortons in a deal that would create the world's third-largest fast-food restaurant company.

And, relocating to Canada, where the corporate tax rate is lower, would be part of the deal.

If Burger King leaves South Florida, over 100 people at the headquarters near Miami International Airport could potentially be affected with relocations or job losses.
