Early voting begins today in Broward County.
20 early voting precincts will be open eight hours a day through Sunday August 24th in anticipation of the August 26th primary.
Although Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties are offering 14 days of early voting, the maximum allowed by state law, Broward is only offering 10 days. Broward County Supervisor of Elections says the county will have 14 days of early voting during the general election in November.
Thanks to low voter turnout and larger polling places, lines should be short.
Early voting sites will be open Monday through Friday between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM and Saturday through Sunday between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
