A 23 foot boat near the PortMiami Bridge is swamped when a passing larger boat creates a huge wake.

The nine passengers and two other jet-skiers who were also swamped say they ended up in the water underneath or near the smaller boat.

Miami Fire Rescue's Lieutenant Ignatous Carroll says luck and skill were put to good use and even though it happened so fast they couldn't reach the life jackets, they were all capable swimmers.

Those two jet-skiers were treated for minor injuries - everyone else was fine.
