UPDATE 5/28 4:00am

The latest DUI arrest of a Broward judge has many people talking, as she becomes the 3rd judge in six months to be arrested on similar charges.

Judge Lynn Rosenthal is out on bond after slamming her SUV into a Broward Sheriff's Deputy's car at the County Courthouse parking lot.

"What an extraordinary coincidence," says WIOD Legal Analyst Mark Eiglarsh.

"Three female judges, all from Broward County," he adds, "I don't think there's anything that links all three, I just think it's an unbelievable coincidence."

Earlier this month, Judge Gisele Pollack was arrested on DUI charges after she crashed into a stopped car. She was ultimately suspended without pay.

Back in November, another judge, Cynthia Imperato, was arrested after cops in Boca Raton received 911 calls of a drunk driver on the road.

As for Rosenthal, Eiglarsh says her immediate future as a judge is hard to predict.

"It's possible she could be suspended, she could be removed from the criminal bench to hear cases maybe in family or civil court" says Eiglarsh, "...Or nothing, because she's innocent until prove guilty."

The arrest report claims Rosenthal admitted to taking ambien Monday night...and that she registered a 0.00 on a breathalyzer.

Broward Sheriff Office deputies received a call shortly after 8 a.m. regarding a vehicle that struck a parked BSO unit in the parking lot of the courthouse located at 201 S.E. 6 St.

The driver of the black SUV was Judge Lynn Rosenthal.

Rosenthal was arrested for DUI and will be booked into the Main Jail.

This arrest marks at least the 3rd judge in that county arrested on similar charges.
